Timbuktu Bar & Grill exists today through the patronage of customers from the Andover and surrounding communities. The purpose of the Timbuktu Community Partnership is to provide a collaborative process for all members of the Timbuktu team to be active in giving back to these communities.  This policy provides guidelines to the criteria required of every solicitation. We will award one ($100) contribution each month.  Solicitors will be eligible to reapply every six months once they have been awarded a contribution from Timbuktu. This policy provides assurance any one organization is not receiving distributed funds monthly and that others are not left out of the cycle.

All solicitors will be required to fill out a Timbuktu Community Partner card. These cards must be filled out and left at Timbuktu in the designated box provided. Requests cannot be mailed in or be submitted in any other format except the Timbuktu Community Partner card. These cards will be assembled for a drawing each month. Drawings will be held on the first day of the following month. (example: drawing for entries in August will be held on the first day of September).

The following five questions must be answered YES to qualify for the drawing:

Does the activity involve and promote the Andover and surrounding communities?

Does the activity involve an organized effort to raise funds for students, a non-profit organization or a fund for the victim of a catastrophe? (any one of the three)

If the activity is not for a victim, does it support a group of people, not just one person?

Is the activity a worthy cause?

Would involvement in the activity reflect positively on Timbuktu Bar & Grill?

Once the drawings are completed, all entries will be assembled and removed from the pool. These will be saved and used for follow up notifications. This policy is subject to changes and updates at the discretion of the proprietors of Timbuktu Bar & Grill.

For questions regarding this policy please contact Michelle Sell at (316) 214-1135.

Thank you for helping Timbuktu Bar & Grill be a community partner.
